The Event Navigator view is the starting point for the analysis of your high-intent event data. This is a heat map of events where you will be able to find and select the right event(s) and then navigate to the appropriate view to review the results and unveil insights.
Use the Filters to quickly find the right event(s)
At the top of the Event Navigator view, you will see the Event Filters section, where you have the option to filter the heat map by Event Tags, Event Types, Event Name, Event Date and number of Registrations within an event.
The Event Tags, Event Types, and Event Name filters are each a dropdown of checkboxes that you can select to refine your search.
The Event Date filter can be used with the calendar pick list or by directly typing the dates within the fields (make sure to respect the mm/dd/yyyy date format). This filter allows you to focus the heat map on a targeted period.
The Registrations filter can be used with either the sliders or by directly typing the number within the fields. This filter allows you to focus on a specific event size range, i.e. events with the number of registrations between the chosen numbers.
Use the heat map to select event(s) to analyze
When done applying the filters you can use the heat map to select the event(s) that you want to analyze.
Each event is represented by a colored square. Darker squares indicate larger events with more registrations and lighter squares indicate smaller events with less registrations.
You can mouse over each square to view a tooltip with more information about the event.
Then you can click on a square to select an event and use the buttons at the bottom of the view to navigate to the Single Event View or the Executive View and start your analysis.
Or you can use Control + click or the Lasso (click & drag) to select multiple events. Selecting multiple events will change the navigation buttons at the bottom of the view to Event Program Analysis, Event Registration Chronicles and Executive View. You can then select one of these options to navigate and start your analysis.
