Report Setup (Profiles)
This Report Setup page under Profiles is used to create new custom reports, or to modify existing user-defined reports, to report on Profile data.
You may preview the custom report at any time by clicking the Run Report button in the lower left corner of each page.
To copy an existing report, go to the main Profile > Reports page and click Copy Report.
How do I perform common tasks in the reports area?
Custom reports are configured using several pages. Once you have saved a new report from this Setup page, the Left Navigation panel includes links to these other pages.

Setting the Name of the Report
The first step in creating a new report is to give it a Report Name and Description that readily identify it for future use.
Reports may also be placed in Report Groups. A group name is used as a subheading on the Profiles >Reports page. Reports can be grouped in any way convenient to the planner.
Create a new group by entering text in the Enter a new group field. Or select an existing group in the Group drop-down list.
To remove a report from the Reports page, click the Delete button at the bottom of the page.
Report Type
Select the report data type to report on. Each report type refers to what will make a row in the report. In the Profiles area, there are two types:
Profile Reports
-
Profiles – Report on profile data, one row per profile record.
-
Profiles and Registrations– Report on profiles and their registrations for all events in the account.
Note: You cannot change the Report Type once the report has been created.
You would need to create a different report to report on a different data type.
Note: The specific data fields to be displayed are configured in Columns, not in Setup by the data type.
The data type only determines what constitutes a row.
The Columns page determines which data fields are displayed.
