Session Template Details

This pop-up Session Template Details page opens when you click Add New or Edit in the List of Session Templates panel of the Forms > Sessions page.

Template Name – (Required) A unique name identifying the template. Appears in the list when you select the template to apply to a Session Section on Forms > Sessions.

Template Description – An optional description, with more explanatory detail.
Example: The built-in Basic Session Template has this Description:
"Includes session description, track, location, and date/time fields" -
Append – Select a dynamic data field to add, and then click Title or Body to add it to that part of the template.
The fields available include:
• Capacity, • CEU Credits, • End Date, • End Time, • Enrolled Count, • Fee, • Level Name, • Location, • Industries, • Job Functions, • Description, • Title, • Start Date, • Start Time, • Tags, • Track Color, • Track Name, • Type Name, • Vacancy Count, • Venue. • Waitlist Vacancy Count, • Waitlisted Count, • Code, • Speaker(s), • Other Session Instances, • Add/Remove Button.
Important Note: Be sure to include the 'Add/Remove Button, or your attendees will have no way of adding sessions to their agenda!
Note: The 'Other Session Instances' field lists the other scheduled instances of the same session (if there are any). -
Title – Add text to be displayed as the title of a Sessions section based on this template. This includes fields you have added by clicking Title to append them here (see above).
You can click </> in the lower right corner to launch a pop-up HTML Editor. (Even if you enter plain text, you can still include HTML tags.) -
Body – Add text to be displayed as the body of a Sessions section based on this template. This includes fields you have added by clicking Body to append them here (see above).
This is the main part of the Sessions Section. -

Enable Editor? – If this check box is selected (as it is by default), you can edit the Body using standard controls for formatting, etc. (See additional instructions about using the HTML Editor.) You can clear the check box in order to edit the Body in a simple text box (which can still include HTML tags). Note: If an Administrator has cleared the Enable CKeditor check box on Account Settings > Implementation > Security for your account, then there is no option to enable the editor; only the plain text box is shown. (But you can still add HTML tags by typing them in.)

Body Collapsible – If selected, the session Body will be collapsed by default, and registrants will need to click the Title to expand and view the Body. If left clear, the session Body will be expanded by default for all sessions.

Collapsible Tooltip – The text of tooltip help shown if the attendee hovers over the
. icon for a collapsed session Body.
Example: "Click to show session details"
