Promo Codes (Attendee Form)
A Promo Codes section for a form is only available if Registration Groups as Promo Codes is turned on for the event in Plan > Configure > Options. (And for it to be turned on for an event, it must first be enabled for the account.)
Promo Codes are set up on Plan > Promo Codes.

Online Form Sequence
Two notes about where to place a Promo Codes section in the Online Form Sequence when adding it to the form on Form Setup.
-
After the Attendee Type section. and after any Logic Rule that could assign an attendee type.
Promo codes are based on attendee type, so the Promo Codes form section must come after the Attendee Type has been assigned, although the sections can still be on the same page.
(If Promo Codes was earlier in the sequence, there would be no promo codes available to the attendee.) -
Before the Verify section and Payment section, so that the promo code's discounts will be applied to the fees.
Section Header
A Section Header can be set on most of the pages that determine the appearance of the registration form. The header is typically used to display additional instructions or event information related to the particular section being configured. The text and HTML elements entered into the section header appear above the section elements themselves.
If the fields in the Section Header area of the screen are left blank, the header will be set to inactive for that section.
In each of these first three text fields, you can enter plain text, with or without HTML tags, or click </>to Launch HTM Editor in a pop-up window. (You can then edit the content using the HTML/Web Content Editor described in Using the HTML Editor.)
-
Text Above Header – Displayed above the header bar, at the top of the section. Usually instructions.
-
Header Text – Displayed in the header bar (in a contrasting color). Example: "Promo Codes".
-
Text Below Header – Displayed directly below the header; any information you want to add.
