Search For Forms
To search for Forms (across events and even across accounts), specify your search criteria and click Submit to see the search results. In the results click a record to edit that form.
The search criteria available include:
-
Search for – Select a data field from the drop-down list: Event Name, Form Name, Form Sub-Title, etc.
-
Note: The Form ID for URL is made up of the few characters after "PKformID=" at the end of the URL.
This can be useful if you have many events and a registrant requesting assistance can only give you the URL of the form they're completing.
-
-
Operator – Choose an operator to determine how Certain will evaluate the search text you place in the box to the right. Example: the default "begins with".
-
Search text – Type the text or numbers you would like to search on in the rightmost data entry field.
-
To broaden your search, use % as a wildcard to return any number of characters. For example, Event Name = "Bo%y" will return Borry, Bosey, Bothey, etc. By default, all fields are searched with a wildcard at the end, so that a search on Event Name = "Summer" will return records with "Summer", "Summer 2017", "Summer Sales", etc.
-
-
Max Rows – The maximum number of records you would like to see in the search results.
-
Per Page – Enables you to split records into multiple pages that make the search results more readable.
-
Account – Choose which account or sub-account you would like to search for forms, or leave it at the default of Any account.
Note: You see only the accounts that your username can access. -
Open record in a new tab – If selected, then when you open a record from the results list you will see it in a new browser tab, instead of the one in which you started the search.
Note: Your selection or non-selection is retained as the default for when you next use this Form Search,
When the search results appear, you may click any column header to sort by that column in ascending order.
Use the Next xx >> and << Previous xx links to navigate through results that have been broken into pages by the Per Page option.
