Global Navigation Icons
Wherever you are in Certain, this global navigation bar is available in the top right corner.
– Search: Search for Registrations, Profiles, Events, Forms, or Websites
– Recent Items: Display a drop-down list of the items (such as events and registrations) that you have accessed recently. Click one to go to that record.
– Favorites: Display a drop-down list of the items (such as events and registrations) that you have marked as favorites. Click one to go to that record.
– Help and Support: Choose one of these five options:
– Page Help: Open the online help topic (in a separate pop-up window) for the current Certain page. This would be part of the same online help as you are reading now. All the topics are also available in the table of contents or via a search.
Note: The same context-sensitive Page Help is increasingly available via a Help button in the anchored button-bar at the bottom of many pages (to the left of the Save button, etc.). The content is the same, but the Help button may be easier to see or reach.
– Training: Go directly to Certain Academy, with its Training Webinars, Courses, and Videos
– Support: Go to the Certain Community to answer your support questions.
Includes access to Certain Academy, API Documentation, and the Knowledge Base.
(Note: The Knowledge Base has the same content as the Page Help, but with the focus on searching instead of the Table of Contents.)
– System Information: Display technical information about your instance of Certain, including its release number and the POD on which it is running
– Release Notes: Display the release notes for the current version of Certain. (These are the same as you see when you first log into a new release, and which you can then choose not to see again until the next new release.)
Note: copies of previous release notes are retained in these help pages.
– System Notification: Display the current notification, if any, shown when you log in to Certain. For example, news about an upcoming new release.
– User and Account Settings: Choose one of these three options:
– User Information: Edit your own user information, and/or change your password.
– Account Settings: Administrators only; administer Account Settings, such as users, sub-accounts, etc.
– Logout: Close your session and exit Certain.
