Scan Registration

(Event) > Manage > Registrations > Scan

Use this feature with a barcode scanner to :

• Show an attendee’s registration information.

• Update the attendee’s registration status automatically.

This feature can be used on-site, or in a fulfillment scenario. For example, to enable the event staff to quickly check in attendees, you can scan the registrants’ badges as they enter the opening session, and the Certain Platform will automatically update the attendee's status to “attended”.

Tip: You can use this feature to quickly check in a group of attendees or process a group of orders, by sequentially scanning multiple barcoded registrations.

To scan a barcoded registration:

1. Attach the scanner to the computer.

2. Select the desired value from the Status drop-down list. (The default is Do not change.)

3. Scan the Reg Code from the bar code.

The attendee's registration record is displayed, including their profile information. The registration status is set to the desired value.

Click Edit Registration to edit the record.

Or click the  edit icon next to one of the section headers to edit that information.
