Using Event Templates
Event Templates are a quick and seamless way to create new events, with much of the work already done for you.
When a planner creates a new event from a template, that event inherits all of the features of the template, including the event's look and feel, event setup, any forms, logic rules, etc.
Templates are intended to speed development time, and to serve as the starting point for more complicated events.

Editing Templates
Certain offers templates that provide a range of graphic options, enabling planners to get started on building new events quickly and easily.
If you have the permission to do so, you can mark any of your own events as templates, by selecting the Mark ... as a template ... check box in Plan > Configure > Options, and optionally uploading an image to represent it on this Templates page.
Note: An Event Builder may only mark events as templates, or edit template events, if the option to Allow event template access is selected under User Access on their user record.
Best Practice: Avoid marking an event as a template unless it is only to be used as a template. Events marked as templates are not listed on the Event List page.
