Import Data Into the Registrations Database
There are four ways to import registrations into your event:
-
From Salesforce
-
From Eloqua
-
From Marketo
Manage Registrations > Import
A user can import data from an external file directly into the registrations database for an event. This is done in the same manner described above for profiles, however, the planner can also assign the event, attendee type, and answers to registration questions to the records being imported.
On the Event Dashboard (Manage > Registrations), the Import button enables the planner to:
-
Upload an external data file to the server
-
Map the columns of the data file to those of the registrations database
-
Preview the data upload
