A logic rule with the Send Email to Registrant or Send Email to Third Party action sends an email when its conditions are met. If nobody got the email, check these things in order.
1. Is the rule on a page that gets submitted?
Logic runs when the registrant clicks Continue on the page the rule sits on. Put the rule on the page before you want the email sent. The Confirm page is the last page and has no Continue, so a send-email rule on the same page as Confirm never runs.
- Move the logic section so it sits on the Verify page or an earlier page in the Online Form Sequence (Form > Setup > Page Layout).
- Or attach the email to a custom registration status and have the rule set that status instead.
2. Do the conditions match this registrant?
The rule only sends when every condition is true for that registrant. Test with a new registration that clearly meets the conditions. See Logic rules: what they can't do, and why one won't save.
3. Is the right email picked in the action?
Open the rule and check the email chosen next to Send Email to Registrant Email.
Someone got a copy they didn't expect
The action has its own copy options: CC Assistant Email, CC Additional Email, BCC Event Registration Contact and BCC Event Owner. Turn off any you don't want.
A copy didn't arrive for an additional registration
Known issue: copies of the email aren't always sent for additional registrations. If you need a copy, contact Certain Support.
The registrant got the email twice
The Confirm page's Send Email confirmations setting sends the confirmation too. Use one or the other. See Why did a registrant get two confirmation emails?.
Next step: Still not sending? Contact Certain Support with the event code, the form name and the logic rule name.
