The Registration Status tracks the progress of a single Registration. Registration Statuses can be useful if the planner needs to put some kind of qualification on a Registrant before they are accepted (i.e., if an attendee needs to be a member of a specific organization in order to register). Statuses can also be used to further organize attendees within an Attendee Type. For example, you may have an Attendee Type called “Student”, and within that Attendee Type, you may have several Registration Statuses – such as “Need Student ID”. You can then easily run a report, and perform a mass action, such as sending out a reminder email to all Students who have not yet submitted a proof of Student ID. An event can have any number of Custom Registration Statuses in addition to the 11 Standard Registration Statuses.
