Spring Release #5 2026 is now in production and includes the following Bug Fixes.
Bugs
Agenda Item Fees
Fixed an issue where agenda item fees on completed registrations could incorrectly update to the current pricing tier when a registrant revisited the agenda section after a fee deadline had passed.
Now, existing agenda item fees remain unchanged when re-accessing a completed registration. New additions, increased quantities, or restored items will correctly apply the current rate.
DELETE Registration API
Fixed an issue where the DELETE Registration API returned an HTTP 500 error when deleting registrations that included profile question responses. The error occurred because the system failed when attempting to remove profile answer records that were not found during the deletion process.
The DELETE API now handles this scenario gracefully and successfully deletes registrations regardless of how profile question responses were originally created.
Event Copy
Fixed an issue where copying an event could cause form logic rules using the Assign Question Response action to lose their question-response mapping. This occurred when the assigned response value contained a double quote (") character — after the copy, the affected logic rule would reset to "Select a Question" instead of retaining the original target question and response value.
Event copy now correctly preserves all logic rule mappings, including response values that contain double quotes and other special characters. No action is required for future event copies; previously affected copied events will need their logic rules re-configured manually.
Affected area: Plan → Form → Logic Rules (Assign Question Response action after Event Copy)
Scheduled Emails
Fixed an issue where scheduled emails containing Display Rules would show raw placeholder text (e.g., <{Display Rule: ...}>) instead of the configured content block. This occurred when a Display Rule condition used the "is one of" or "is not one of" operator — particularly on Country fields — and could cause all Display Rules in the same email template to fail. Manually sent emails were not affected.
Scheduled emails now correctly evaluate Display Rule conditions and render the appropriate content for each recipient.
Speaker Bio
Fixed an issue where the Speaker Bio field's character counter included hidden HTML formatting tags in its count. This caused bios with rich text styling to hit the 4,000-character limit prematurely — users could see an error as early as ~3,900 visible characters.
The character count now only counts visible text, excluding HTML markup. This fix applies to both the Speakers management screen and the Speaker Portal (Submit a Proposal / My Information).
QR Codes on Automated Waitlist Emails
Fixed an issue where QR code barcodes failed to render in confirmation emails triggered by automated waitlist status changes. Instead of displaying the QR code image, recipients saw raw placeholder text (e.g., <{Barcode: QR_CODE_V1}>). Emails sent via manual status updates or test proofs were not affected.
QR codes and other appended barcodes now display correctly in all automated emails, including those triggered by waitlist capacity changes.
