Overview
The Attendees page is the command center for your event's roster in Greet. It gives you a live view of everyone synced from your registration data, with tools to search, filter, import, print badges, and manage individual records. This article covers every section of the page so your team knows exactly what each control does before the event begins.
Getting to the Attendees Page
From the Dashboard and Events list, click the event name to open its Overview page. Then click Attendees in the left sidebar.
The Attendees Table
The main table shows every attendee Greet has synced from your registration data. Each row includes:
Name and Attendee Type
Status (e.g., Registered, Attended)
Company
Check-in Time (the timestamp when they checked in; blank if they haven't)
Reg Code and Order Code
Finding Attendees
Search Bar (top of the list)
The search bar matches against names, companies, and email addresses. Type the first few characters and the list filters in real time.
Status Filters (just below the search bar)
A filter row shows each status with a live count next to it. Click any status to instantly narrow the list to that group. Use this for tasks like reprinting badges only for checked-in attendees, or finding invited records that haven't registered yet.
Adding and Managing Attendee Records
Every attendee row has a ⋮ (kebab) icon on the left. Click it to open an action menu with options for that one attendee: Edit, Delete, Check In / Revert Check-In, and Preview and Print Badge. Where an action below lives in that menu, it's called out as "row's ⋮ menu."
Import Attendees (top toolbar)
Click Import to open the Import Attendees modal and upload a CSV to add attendees in bulk.
To import:
Use the Download CSV Template link inside the modal to get a correctly formatted starter file.
Click Select CSV File to open your device's file picker and select the completed file.
Once a valid file is selected, a preview panel shows each record's First Name, Last Name, Email, and Attendee Type. Use this to spot-check the data before it goes live.
Click Import Attendees to finalize.
| Column | Required? | Format notes | If left blank |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Name | Yes | No set character limit; alphanumeric characters recommended | Import fails with an error |
| Last Name | Yes | No set character limit; alphanumeric characters recommended | Import fails with an error |
| Yes | Standard email format, e.g. test@test.com; alphanumeric characters recommended | Import fails with an error | |
| Attendee Type | Yes | Must match an Attendee Type already set up for the event; new values can't be created through import | Import fails with an error |
Add Attendee (top toolbar)
Click Add Attendee to add a single person on the fly. This is the right option for walk-ins or late registrants. Fill in the required fields in the modal and click Add Attendee to save.
Edit Attendee (row's ⋮ menu)
Click Edit to open the Edit Attendee modal and correct any attendee details.
Note: Edits made here may be overwritten on the next sync from your registration system. To keep Greet-side edits and push them back, enable the Sync back toggle for that field under Settings > Synced Questions.
Delete Attendee (row's ⋮ menu)
Click Delete to permanently remove the attendee from this event.
Export (top toolbar)
Click Export to download the current attendee list as a CSV. The export reflects whatever filters are active at the time.
Checking Attendees In
Check In (Workflow) / Revert Check-In (row's ⋮ menu)
For attendees not yet checked in, this option reads Check In (Workflow) and launches the configurable check-in questionnaire your team set up in Event Configurations. The modal shows one question at a time with a step counter at the bottom.
Click Complete after the final question to finish the check-in and set the attendee's status to Attended. If a line is forming and the attendee needs to move on, click Skip remaining steps to check them in now and skip the remaining questions. The × icon in the top-right closes the modal without checking the attendee in.
For attendees who are already checked in, this option reads Revert Check-In, which resets their status to Registered.
Printing Badges
Select Printer (top toolbar) — do this first
Click Select Printer to open the printer selection panel before you print anything. Printer selection is per-device, so every laptop, tablet, or kiosk in the room can be pointed at its own printer. The panel has four tabs:
Cloud lists every cloud printer connected to your account.
Local lists USB or network printers configured on this device. If no printers appear, the device hasn't been paired yet. See How to Configure Printer Settings in Greet.
Zebra for Zebra-brand badge printers.
Browser Print sends the job through the browser's native print flow. Works on any device with any connected printer, and is the fallback when none of the other options fit.
Preview and Print Badge (row's ⋮ menu)
Click Preview and Print Badge to open the Badge Print Preview modal for one attendee at a time. Use this for a single reprint or a one-off badge.
Print Badges (bulk) (top toolbar)
Use the checkboxes on the left side of each row to select everyone whose badge you want to print. Once at least one attendee is selected, the Print Badges button appears in the toolbar, with the label showing how many are selected, for example Print Badges (2). Clicking it sends every selected attendee's badge to the printer as a single batch, using each attendee's assigned template automatically. Confirm a printer is selected on the device first (see Select Printer above).
