The badge preview is a guide. The printed badge or PDF can differ, mostly because of space. Open the layout under Badges and Barcodes > Badges, click Live Preview after each change, and check these things.

Some lines aren't centered

Lines can have different alignment. Click in the badge layout, select all the text (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A), click center alignment, and save.

The QR code prints smaller than in the preview

The QR code shrinks to fit the space left over. More lines, bigger fonts and extra line spacing all take space from it.

• Remove an empty line or reduce the line spacing.
• Use a smaller font for long fields.

Long names are cut off or push everything down

With a large font, a long name wraps onto a second line. That pushes the rest of the badge down, and part of the name can be left off the printed badge.

• Turn on Enable Auto Sizing in the layout and save. A name that's too wide then shrinks to fit the width of the badge instead of wrapping.
• Or use a smaller font size for the name field.

Live Preview doesn't show Auto Sizing, because it shows field names instead of real names. To check, open a registration with a long name, click Print Name Badge, pick the layout and click Generate PDF.

An image doesn't show

An image larger than its area on the badge won't print. Resize it to fit the space.

My tent card prints on the wrong layout

Set the badge layout to a tent card template before you print. A regular badge layout won't fold or line up as a tent card.
