A lot of the information collected in your Events will be from Custom Questions created both on the Account level (Custom Profile Questions) and within the Event (Custom Registration Questions). You can add questions to your registration form in 3 different ways; Custom Profile questions can be added to the Registrant Details section, create and add a Question Section to the Form, or create a logic rule that displays the questions based on a logic condition.
Registrant Details
The Registrant Details Section is where you display and collect the Profile information (Name, Email, Address, Etc.). Although you cannot add Custom Registration Questions to the Reg Details area, you can add Custom Profile Fields.
- Navigate to the Form's > Registrant Details section.
- Under Select Fields.
- Move the questions you want to include in the Registrant Section from the Available Fields section to the Fields to Display section.
- Save.
This will include the Custom Questions selected in the Registrant Details section of the Form.
Question Section
The Form's > Questions page is where you can create Question sections to place on your form. These sections can contain Custom Registration Questions, Custom Profile Questions, and Display Headers. You can also set conditions on the Question sections, so it will only display if the registrant meets certain conditions.
- Navigate to the Form's > Questions page.
- Click on Add New or edit an existing Question Section.
- Enter a Name for the Question Section.
- Choose Additional Questions to show in the Section.
- Set a Display Condition if needed.
- Navigate to the Form's > Setup > Scroll to Page Layout.
- Select the Question section you created in the Available Sections area.
- Click on the Icon to move the section to the Online Form Sequence.
- Move the Section up or down to place it where you want it to show on the form.
- Save.
This will cause the questions to display on the Form where you placed them in the Page Layout and if the Display Conditions are met.
Logic Rule
You can display questions on the form by placing them in a logic rule. There are two actions used to display questions; Display Questions or Agenda Items, and Display Questions. The "Display Questions or Agenda Items" Action checks the Logic conditions set on the page loading, and if they are True, it will display the questions or items selected in the Logic Rule. The "Display Questions" Action checks the Logic conditions set as the Registrant makes selections on the page and will cause the question to appear or be hidden based on if the Conditions are True or False.
- Navigate to the Form's > Logic page
- Click on Add New
- Enter a Name for the Logic rule and set the Logic's Section
- Set the Action to "Display Questions" or "Display Questions or Agenda Items"
- Select the question/questions you want it to display
- Set the Conditions of the Logic Rule
- Save
- Navigate to the Form's > Setup > Scroll to Page Layout.
- Select the Logic Section to which you added your Logic Rule in the Available Sections area.
- Click on the Icon to move the section to the Online Form Sequence.
- Move the Section up or down to place it where you want it to show on the form.
- Save.
This will cause the Questions selected in the Logic Rule to display on the Form, depending on if the Conditions set are True or False.

Can you explain more about how to insert breaks between questions using the "Add a Header / Section Break" form? The instructions aren't clear since the form's header says "Header Details" and doesn't mention section breaks. I only want to add section breaks between the questions I created. It would be great if I could just add a line break tag between questions in the "Fields to Display" window.
