Option 1: Forms
-
Navigate to Plan > Event Setup > Forms > Select your Form > Setup.
-
Under Setup Information, change the Close date and time to your desired Event Close date (Note: These times are in Pacific Standard Time) or change the Form status to Closed if you would like it to be closed immediately.
It is recommended to follow this process for all relevant Forms, in case you've shared one of the Forms with registrants already.
Option 2: Event Status
-
Navigate to Plan > Event Setup > Details.
-
Update the Event Status to Post-Event, Closed, or Cancelled, and click Save.
Notes:
- Event Status = Closed: If you attempt to change the Event Status to Closed, and the Form end date is set for after the Event date, you will get an Error warning to update the Form end date. If the Allow form open beyond event end date setting is enabled (i.e., for a post-event survey), you will not get this Error warning.
- Event Status = Post-Event: When setting the Event Status to Post-Event, you will not receive any Error warning, even if the Form end date is set for after today's date. It is recommended to close the Form to avoid accessing the Form if you update the Event Status to Post-Event.
- Event Status = Cancelled: When setting the Event Status to Cancelled, Forms will be inactivated automatically.
To confirm the Form has been closed, preview the Form to see the Form closed message. If you would like to update the message that is displayed on the closed Form, navigate to Forms > Setup, and click the Advanced button in the bottom left corner. In the pop-up window, scroll down the Customize Closed Form Message section, update the Closed Form Message, and click Save.
