This page, like many other data-list pages in Certain, shows a list of records one of which you may click to view/edit.
When there are more than ten records to show, it includes the following:
-
Show [ 10 ] entries – The number of entries shown per page. The default is 10; you can change that to 25, 50 or 100.
-
Search – In this search box (in the upper-right corner), you can enter a string of characters to filter the list. For example, in a list of names, typing "john" would return "John ..." and "... Johnson".
-
Showing – The number of entries shown in the list, and the total in the system, are both displayed (below the lower-left corner of the list).
Example, "Showing 1 to 10 of 50 entries." -
Previous / # / # / # / Next – Navigate between pages by clicking Previous, or a page number, or Next (below the lower-right corner of the list.)
When you move through a list, and drill down to view or edit a record, the list remembers your preferences.
That includes all of the above, and any sort you applied by clicking the icon above a column.
So when you return to the list, you are in the same place on the same page, with your search and sort still in place.
Selections remembered:
-
The number of records per page
-
Any filter(s) (search keywords) you applied
-
The page you were on
-
The sort order you selected for a column
