Cancellation fees are not assigned if a Registration is incomplete. This is because incomplete Registrations would get fees assigned by simply going through the Form, selecting an item, and then changing their selection before completing the Form.
If you are manually assigning items to Registrations and want to ensure that cancellation fees are applied, we recommend that you first check the Complete property on the Registrant's Profile. Marking the Registrant Complete before you change the Registration Status to Cancelled will ensure that the cancellation fee is assigned. Additionally, be sure to review the Attendee Type field on the Registrant's Profile if it was set to the Cancelled Attendee Type.
Checking if the Registrant has been marked Complete
- Navigate to Manage > Registration > access the Registrant's Profile.
- Scroll down to Registration Information.
- Under Properties, see if the Complete box has been checked or not.
