A brand kit is your colors, your logos, your fonts, and your images, saved together as one identity. It lives at the account level rather than inside any single event. One kit is marked as the default, and every new event you build picks that one up on its own, which is why your events come out looking like your company without you styling them one at a time. That's also why a kit is worth setting up before your first event: get it right once, and everything you build afterward inherits it.

Find your Brand Library

1. Click the palette icon on the far left rail. You're not about to edit this event's colors. You're heading to the place where colors are kept for every event you'll ever run.

2. This opens your Brand Library, where every kit on your account lives, including your first one if you haven't built it yet. Each card previews itself: two color circles, the heading font, and the four core swatches along the bottom. One card carries a gold star. That's the account default, the kit every new event gets built with, and it's the single most important thing on this screen.

3. Click a card to look inside. There's more to a kit than color. Scroll down and you'll find the hero image that runs across the top of your registration page, a slot for a background pattern, and a media library of images to draw on. Colors, logos, fonts, and artwork, all held together as one identity.

4. Back on your events dashboard, Certain states the rule out loud. Express Architect lists every kit along the top, with your default one marked DEFAULT, so a new event is branded before you've typed a word. The Brand Identity card tells the same story underneath: your default kit, applied to all new events.

5. Open any event, and its overview shows a Configuration row. The Brand card in it names the kit that event is using, with its four colors underneath. The banner on the registration page, the color of the Register button, the typeface: all of it comes from there. Click the card to open the event's own branding screen.

Override colors for one event, without touching the kit

6. This screen answers the whole question. The kit is named at the top left and badged Kit Default, meaning this event is simply using the account kit. Every other kit on your account is listed below it, so you could point this one event somewhere else. Logo, font, hero banner, and background all read from the kit, and Color Overrides shows 0 of 4. The Color Tuner at the bottom is where you'd change that, and it would apply to this event only, leaving the kit itself alone.

7. Click Return to leave everything exactly as it is. You're back on the event overview with nothing changed.

That's the shape of it: kits live at the account level, one of them is the default, and every new event inherits it. Each event can still be steered on its own, without altering the kit behind it.
